Hal Hargis

Hal Hargis was born in Houston, Texas.  Before turning to law, Mr. Hargis worked in the electrical field as an apprentice, journeyman, service technician, and job foreman.  Mr. Hargis graduated from the University of Texas with honors in 1989.  He graduated from South Texas College of Law magna cum laude in 1992.

Mr. Hargis is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.  He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.

Mr. Hargis has considerable experience in the litigation and trial of various types of cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability, subrogation, electrical injuries and structural loss, fire losses, construction defects/negligence, misrepresentation, deceptive trade practices, products liability, employment law/practices and others.

In July 2005, Mr. Hargis was named one of Houston's top lawyers in personal injury by H Texas Magazine.
